Rug Cleaning
The first step in cleaning is dusting. By running high pressure air through the warp and weft we remove pounds of dirt even from a rug coming from the cleanest household.
After dusting, the rugs are separated according to fiber, weaving style, age, condition and dyes.
Once the dust is removed, a special cleaning solution is prepared for each rug considering its fiber and dyes. This is done by a restoration expert since a good knowledge of different types of dyes is essential to avoid color runs.
Rugs are brushed by hand by our rug repairmen. Special attention is given to the care of weak spots and remove stains.Every rug is treated with
special care considering its age and condition. Hypoallergenic and biodegradable materials are used only.
